Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, well known as Kwaw Kese has sent a strong message to Ghanaian politicians aspiring to occupy public offices after the December 7th General Election in 2024.
In an interview on the Midmorning Show on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Kwaw Kese stated that most politicians embezzle huge sums of money when they are elected into power, hence, it is very essential for Ghanaians to devise a strategy to cushion their lives.
According to him, since most politicians are “thieves”, any of them who reaches out to him to plead for his votes during the upcoming elections will have to reward him financially before he casts his votes for them.
“If you want me to vote for you so you can be elected and earn money, you must pay for it. Politicians embezzle a substantial amount when in power“, he said.
He endorsed that the ordinary Ghanaian must demand payment from politicians before casting their votes for them in the upcoming elections. He added that the country is faced with developmental issues in most sectors of the economy and development, yet politicians will never make any move to solve these problems when they are being elected into power, hence they need to demand payment before voting.
“I endorse those who demand payment from politicians before casting their votes. Our roads are in deplorable condition, schools are still under trees, and the energy crisis is wreaking havoc on our lives. Either pay for the votes or don’t expect them,” he added.
